About two weeks ago, we Zambonis had our second band meeting in fifteen years. We all decided that we would really prioritize our gigs by two categories; one being exposure / forward momentum, two being $$$$. That was it, if the gig did not do either one of these things, we wouldn't consider it. Long story short, we were then contacted by a band that sings songs, really good songs, about pirates and love! all with an Indie-Irish flare. Well, the moral of this story is, band meetings are stupid. Just play gigs and have fun. Come on down, it's gonna be a great night. Venue is Connelly's Rock 45, NYC - located at 121 West 45th Street in midtown Manhattan. Tickets are $10.
SEPTEMBER
Saturday September 1st - GREAT FOR THE KIDS! COME CELEBRATE OUR GRAND BAND SLAM VICTORY! Live in Bridgeport CT at Captain's Cove.
WE WON! WE WON! For the 4th consecutive year in a row, we Zambonis have won the Fairfield County Weekly's GRAND BAND SLAM CONTEST. This means according to the magazine, the voters and our parents, WE ARE THE BEST ROCK BAND IN CT. Whatever it means we say a BIG Yeehaw to all who voted. To celebrate our victory we will be playing live on the deck of the beautiful outdoor setting of Captains Cove in Bridgeport, CT. It's right on the water. We are on at 7pm sharp. Nine other bands / it's an all day affair / great FOR THE KIDS / it's a restaurant / patio / just freaken come on down!!! See ya there.
Wednesday September 5th - Acoustic Cafe, Bridgeport CT - First time ever, ZAMBONIS UNPLUGGED!
This is our 1st ever UNPLUGGED ZAMBONIS SHOW. Come hear your fave hockey tunes acoustic yet, rockin. Zambonis, Philistines jr (Peter &
Tarquin from The Zambonis band), Michael Holt (formerly of The Mommyheads) and Shawn (Zambonis) Fogel. This is going to be a semi-unplugged show or what we are calling a "not too loud show". Regardless of what we are calling it, its gonna be good. Come on down.
The show is HONESTLY starting at 7:15pm and ending at 10pm at Acoustic Cafe.
Friday September 14th - The Space, Hamden, CT
The Space is a great club that has booked the type of music that they want to book for years. Be it folk or punk rock, they book what they like and give bands that just started a chance where most clubs would not. WE are PROUD to be a part of this gig. We are on last -- around 10pm. Other bands playing are M6T, The Skalliwags, Waiting For a Miracle, Blameshift then the sweet hockey sounds of Los Zambonis!

Saturday August 4th - Zambonis to perfom for the 2nd Annual Hockey Fights MS Tournament in Bethlehem, PA!
We will be rocking out on the ice for a great cause. Come on down to The Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem, PA. We will be performing during the public skate session. Free for registered players in the MS tournament, $10 to skate, $6 for non-skaters.
This is the 2nd Annual Hockey Fights MS Tournament it is held during Musikfest this year. Musikfest is a fun-filled 10-day musical
spectacular that attracts more than one million people from throughout the country. The festival, which showcases nearly every musical style imaginable features more than 300 performers, musical programming at 13 different indoor and outdoor stages (9 of the stages are free!), and mouthwatering foods. Saturday June 9th - Zambonis Play their 1st Hockey Bar Mitzvah!
We played 3 hockey themed weddings in 15 years but, we are proud to say we will be playing our 1st Hockey themed Bar Mitzvah in NYC. Mazel tov Matt! It's a private gig but we felt we should share this news with you all. We will gladly even things up and do a hockey themed communion. Any takers? To quote a local priest/hockey fan here in CT, when Jesus saves we all score.

Sunday March 25th - The Zambonis will be rocking out live on the ice for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers! Bring Your Skates! SUNDAY AFTERNOON. YOU SKATE, WE PLAY!
We are playing LIVE on the ice after the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers (affiliate of The NY Islanders) take on the Portland Pirates. The game starts at 1pm and then at about 3:45pm, we hit the ice and so do you! Post-game skate with the Sound Tiger players, possibly some Islander legends and more. Zamboni fans/friends get a VERY SPECIAL DISCOUNTED PRICE OF $10 per ticket. Availability is limited at this price, so buy now! Skate rentals are available for $5 while supplies last (send us the size you need). There's no better way to see our hockey band than on the ice!
