Nov 27 - Zambonis with The Defenders, The Philistines jr, and The LeeVees!!!!!
Cap off the long holiday weekend
with a fantastic--and early!--Sunday show
featuring four "top shelf" acts. At
7, the show kicks off with our old friends
The Defenders,
whose kick-tail surf instrumentals rule like
Moondoggie.
Next up at 7:45, it's
The Zambonis
with a mix of classics
new and old (rumours are the hockey monkey is coming to the
show)
At 8:45,
The Philistines Jr.,
featuring Peter and Tarquin Katis from The
Zambonis, reunite after a six-year
hiatus. Simply, they play amazingly great skewed pop--not to be missed.
Batting clean up is
the first-ever(!) show from The
LeeVees
, who feature Dave from The Zambonis and Adam Gardner from
Guster. Formed
in April 2005, Dave and Adam wrote ten great songs that have just been issued as
their debut release, "Hanukkah Rocks," on Warner
Bros./Reprise Records.
Following this world premiere show, The Leevees embark on a sold-out tour
across the country supporting Barenaked Ladies. They will also
be making numerous TV appearances in December. Come see them now so you can say
"you saw them when." It's going to be a very special, fun night.
Tickets
are only $10 and are going fast. For ticket info call 335-3655, or

April 2005
- Roger Farina (NHL's Inaugural 7th Man Fan of the Year in 2003)
We recently had the pleasure of being contacted by Roger Farina.
He is an extremely devoted Hockey fan and is the co-creator of
Fans Strike Back! Some of you may know Roger as the NHL's Inaugural
7th Man Fan of the Year in 2003. He has been seen on the Today
Show, Fox and Friends and had the honor of dropping the puck at
Game 1 of the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals. Roger also reigned as Commissioner
for a day. This included a luncheon meeting with Commish Bettman.
Many fine points were made by Roger except maybe when his love
for The Islanders took over and he recommended that Bettman disband
the NY Rangers. He actually wanted to have the dispersal draft
at 3 o'clock that afternoon. We Zambonis respect his effort and
love for the game and have given him the world premiere of our
new anti-NHL Lockout song called "Just Play". The version he has
up is not the finished version but you get the idea....Just Play
(what do you expext us to watch basketball?) check out his site
at www.nonhllockout.com.
February
2005 - The Zambonis have achieved a career milestone with our

words in the legendary magazine, they used a HUGE picture
of the band. One dream completed. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
Iissue, here we come.

The NAHL (National
American Hockey League) has not only declared The Zambonis the

Monday night (2/7) we PLAY LIVE ON THE ICE while friends, family,
fans, and wonderstruck onlookers skate around the rink. Dubbed,
"We Play, You Skate," there is simply no better way to enjoy a
hockey band performance. Tuesday night (2/8), we play before the
All-Star Game in the corridor and then rock out at the after party
at the Dr. Pepper Center in Frisco.
Saturday
