News from 1999 December 11th - We made our triumphant return to Madison Square Garden, this time for the SuperSkate 2000. This was the 2nd annual NY Rangers Charity Hockey Event featuring the Rangers in a SuperSkills Competition and a celebrity hockey game. All net proceeds benefited NYR SKATE and The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation. Your very own Zambonis were playing live, above one of the Zamboni® entrances!  Check out these cool pictures from the event. Note:Our first MSG show was during the NHL Lockout in 1995... November 21st - Check out this article featured in the November 29th issue of Sports Illustrated for a feature on The Zambonis, written by SI's Hockey guy Kostya Kennedy. October 29th - We will be playing at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater in New York City. It's at 161 w.22nd St. (between 6th & 7th) This is a variety show put on by Rich Brown, the former host of MTV's Oddville and current member of the Daily Show Squad. Other performers will include the Incredible Underdog Woman and The Foul-mouthed Granny. $5 cover. Seating is limited, so call early for reservations and info: 212.366.9176. September 23rd - Just a quick update here. We will be appearing on October 6th live on the ice at the MCI center in Washington D.C. Unfortunately, this event is only for season ticket holders. If you are interested in attending this event, drop an email to Davzamboni@aol.com. August 27th - We're back! The time has come for our new CD! "More Songs About Hockey...and buildings and food." will be released to rinks, record stores, and arenas on October 26th. Some of the new titles are: Hextall, Hockey Monkey, Drop That Puck, Bob Marley and the Hartford Whalers, Zamboni Drivers Local Union, and Andy Moog Meets Robert Moog. In other exiting news, there will be an article about us in the NHL section of the September issue of ESPN Magazine. This is the beginning of our pre-season promotional tour. Look out for more articles in magazines, local papers, and online radio broadcasts. We will keep you posted. April 10th AND 15th - The Zambonis on ESPN2 coverage of the NHL BREAKOUT World Championships in Tampa this past January. 1pm on Saturday April 10th and 3pm on Thursday April 15th. March 31st - April 3rd - The Zambonis on NHL Cool Shots... AGAIN!. Here is the American TV schedule! Canadian TV schedule! Episode #226 from Colorado... featuring "Avalanche"! March 13th - We'll be playing a FREE!!! show at The Luna Lounge in NYC (Ludlow St. just south of Houston (near Katz Deli)) on March 13th. The line-up is: Agitrain (9pm), Toss (10pm), The Zambonis with the figure skating horns (11pm)!!! Don't forget your helmet! Crosstrain with the band on the Luna Lounge foosball table. February 26th - The Zambonis (featuring Jimminy Kroekle) debut an animated video of Hockey Monkey on Nickelodeon! The show is called Kablam! and is on Friday night at 8pm.
