 What's New / Gigs in 2008 Our song "Greatest Season" gets put to some good use! A smart and extremely tasteful writer from Niagara this Week, a newspaper in Niagara Region in Ontario asked us if he could use our song to celebrate the inaugural season of the OHL's Niagara Ice Dogs. We asked for $10,000, he said no, we quickly rebutted with how bout 3 team jerseys, he was silent, we then asked if he would plug our website. We need a manager. Sunday, May 4 - Zambonis join the Fight against Cancer at Skatefest 2008 in Baltimore, Maryland We are so happy to be a part of the HUGE battle against cancer. May 4th in Baltimore, MD. We will playing live at SKATEFEST 2008. The local community has teamed up with the NHL and its foundation, Hockey Fights Cancer, to host a one-day fun filled extravaganza to raise money for Cancer. In addition to us playing live, Washington Capitals & Philadelphia Flyers Alumni, Celebrity guest from The Food Network and more live performers, their will be activities such as a Skate-a-thon for two hours, skills competition & broom ball on the ice, rides, carnival games, vendors, food and much more! More info here. APRIL We are playing LIVE on the ice after the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers (affiliate of The NY Islanders) take on the Hartford Wolfpack (affiliate of the NY Rangers). Second is to dress/disguise one of us Zambonis like a girl (Jon) and have him kick butt in the all female Frying Pan Toss competition. Since its inception in 1897, the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival has been a unique and remarkable celebration, not only for the enthusiasm of the village residents, but also for the structure that has come to symbolize the carnival, the Ice Palace. JULY The Zambonis and The Ivory Bills at one of our fave spots to play in CT Cafe Nine. This is our only local show for the summer....Come here some classic hockey tunes and some world premieres like "Hockey Dad" and "Rat Trap". Saturday July 28th - ZAMBONIS ROCK OSWEGO, NY!! JUNE We played 3 hockey themed weddings in 15 years but, we are proud to say we will be playing our 1st Hockey themed Bar Mitzvah in NYC. Mazel tov Matt!
